Everyone from toddler to teen finds it easy
and natural to play-digging in the sand,
floating in the waves, catching sand crabs
and picking up shells. This summer, you can
take the sights, sounds and smells of the
best beach trip ever right to your church!
With easy-to-find decorations, your VBS can
become a bright and fun-filled beach.
Best of all, this beach trip brings your
vacationers to daily encounters with Jesus!
Through stories about Jesus' actions,
SonSurf Beach Bash will give your kids
answers to five big questions about Jesus.
Who is Jesus?
In Session 1, kids will MEET UP with
Jesus by hearing about His birth and actions
in the Temple as a 12-year-old. They will
be challenged to get to know Jesus in a
deeper way.
Why can I trust Jesus?
In
Session
2, kids will LOOK UP to Jesus as they
hear how an official trusted Jesus to help
him. They will realize that Jesus is the
One they can turn to in any situation.
Why do I need Jesus?
In Session 3, kids will understand what it
means to
JOIN
UP
with Jesus as they hear about His death and
resurrection. They will understand why they
need Jesus and that His loving actions are
all that's required for them to be part of
God's family.
How can Jesus help me when I mess up?
In Session 4, kids will OPEN UP
to Jesus' forgiveness as they hear the
story of the Prodigal Son. They will
discover that when they've done wrong, Jesus
doesn't stop loving them, but forgives them
and helps them get back on track.
What does Jesus want me to do?
In Session 5,
kids
will FIRE UP for Jesus as they listen
to the story of Jesus' last encounter with
His disciples. Kids will be ready to show
by their own actions and words how much they
love Jesus and want to follow Him.
